What Is Anxiety?
What Causes Anxiety?
Causes of Anxiety

- Medical Factors: Other medical conditions can lead to an anxiety disorder. Such as the side effects of medication. Symptoms of a disease, or stress from a serious underlying medical condition. That may not trigger the changes seen in anxiety disorders. But might be causing significant lifestyle adjustments, pain, or restricted movement.
- Brain Chemistry: Stressful or traumatic experiences and genetic factors. Can alter brain structure and function. To react more to triggers that would not before have caused anxiety. Psychologists and neurologists define many anxiety and mood disorders as disruptions. To hormones and electrical signals in the brain.

Often, people try to cope with those negative reactions by avoiding situations. Or experiences that make them anxious. Unfortunately, avoidance can backfire and actually feed the anxiety.
Psychologists who are trained in diagnosing anxiety disorders. Are teaching patients healthier, more effective ways to cope.

Anxiety disorders differ.
So therapy should be tailor to your specific symptoms and diagnosis.
The length of therapy will also depend on the type and severity of your anxiety disorder. But, many anxiety therapies are short-term. According to the American Psychological Association. Many people improve within 8 to 10 therapy sessions.
Each anxiety therapy may be alone or combined with other types of therapy. Anxiety therapy may be with an individual. Or it may take place in a group of people with similar anxiety problems. But the goal is the same: to lower your anxiety levels, calm your mind, and overcome your fears.
A Series of Unfortunate Events
Is it possible that we are responsible for why things are the way they are? Yeah, we may be experiencing the anxieties of life. Or we suffer an anxiety disorder. Could it be our series of unfortunate events? Caused by our series of unfortunate decisions? Could the above be a cause and effect on the anxiety we experience?
“There is no chance. No destiny, no fate that can circumvent or hinder or control the firm resolve of a determined soul.”
Many times the “who’s responsible one” is starring at us in the mirror right in front of us. We sometimes cause our own anxiety triggers and symptoms.
There is no better signage available on the road of life than God’s written word. But, most people, even believing Christians don’t give the word of God much thought or attention. Until things are bad.
The great rabbi Jesus. Taught “whoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will like them to a wise man who built his house on the rock.” (Matthew 7:24) (NKJV)
Instead many of us go through life so captivated. Pre-occupied with what is convenient. That we miss what is valuable and necessary.
As a result, we stay on the road going nowhere building our lives on air. Rather than a solid foundation. “Like a man… who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock.” Luke 6:48 (NKJV)
Let me ask you something… what is your true north? The navigation of your own hearts compass.
Unaddressed and unidentified things will burden your soul and cause anxiety. Causing you to go through life weighed down.“lay aside every weight. And the sin that ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.” (Hebrews 12:1)
Those weights are design to keep us down. Vulnerable to sin. With a dysfunctional set of behaviors that keep us stagnated and going around in circles. These things cause us to never reach our full potential and keep those around us stagnate as well.
We then become the hurting who hurts and the disappointed that disappoints.
To move forward we must ask ourselves. Why I do the things I do. Why exactly do I attract these kinds of people? I don’t want in my life or to associate with those kinds of people who have shown themselves to not team me!
But also running away the ones I do want in my life. How can I break these horrible negative cycles in my life, and how can I grow and do something great in my lifetime?
I have learned that people are generally oblivious. To how their decisions and thought patterns affect those with whom they interact. And vice versa, how our words and decisions affect our own destiny.
It’s all masked in an unsettling silence and acted out in irrational behaviors. This sinking ship of society’s morals and morale takes all passengers down with it.
Let’s be honest, where you are now is a direct result of every decision you have made in the past. Meaning it is the road to the good and bad things in your present moment.
Some you have caused some caused by others
Our life is the sum total of our choices-choices that either enslave or save our soul. It is time that we get established in the knowledge of the truth of God’s Kingdom. The knowledge that will set us free.Regardless of the unfortunate events. Decisions, or relationships we’ve been bound by in the past and medical diagnose.
The truth will set the real YOU free. That has been captive and free you from the limitations of your, anxiety-filled soul. Be Healed and Be set free! This will lead you to an authentic liberated quality of life.
The power of authenticity is in the human heart from families to nations. Authentic leaders aim to liberate the heart, their own and others.
I aim to liberate myself and others with the truth of knowledge and wisdom. People perish for the lack of knowledge.
“Embrace this kingdom life and don’t doubt God. You’ll not only do minor feats as I did to the fig tree. But also triumph over huge obstacles.” Matthew 21:21 (MSG)
Breaking free. Getting clear. Finding that peace and confidence that makes life joyful. The purpose of being anxious for nothing, seeking first the Kingdom of God. Asking, seeking, knocking through faith, the Soul Fast, exercise, meditation, and counseling.
Is to get to your most healthy place and be your authentic self, be kind to that self, and don’t be afraid to grow. Conquer your fears and anxieties.
