How To Obtain The Freedom To Be Your Authentic Self

“To deprive a man of his natural liberty… is starvation of the soul.” – Mohandas Ghandi

In order to obtain freedom with greater mental, emotional, and spiritual health you must be willing to go on a journey that will transform your life. This journey will require your full participation.

My heart’s desire is to be empowered to grow into my God-created authentic self and to liberate the souls of humanity, who desire to take that journey, to do the same.

My personal relationship with God has given me the strength and power to live in the liberty that was created for me to be free.

We currently live in a world where some believe in God, while others may not at all or just not in the same way as a group of other people who may believe in God but expresses their allegiance through their religion.

The truth of the matter is we are all human beings who have souls. We are spirit beings, living in dirt bodies, which possess a living soul.

The recent election with Donald Trump becoming President of The United States of America, the moral decay and the foolish concepts in the hearts of some American’s has raised the question of how do we get back to the original purpose and intent for which we all live and should have our very existence in?

How do our souls get realigned with love, joy, peace, health, wealth, prosperity and success? Where do we start? What does it mean to be an authentic soul? How can we be empowered to live more authentically?

These are questions that we should explore and meditate on in order to get sound answers to move us toward our goal of authentic living.

One of my favorite teachers to ever walk the earth is a Rabbi by the name of Jesus, He stated, “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (Matthew 11:29-30 MSG)

Well, on my journey I went looking for this rest and what it exactly meant. In my search through knowledge and wisdom, I found a book by Cindy Trimm entitled “The 40 Day Soul Fast: Your Journey to Authentic Living

It is about finding rest and restoration for your soul. As she states “when all is well with the souls of humanity all will be well in the world.”

It is important as individuals that we are able to be the difference we want to see in the world. We as individual souls must be the change, the love, the peace we want to experience in society. It will be electric, contagious and spill over into our environments as well as the entire world.

I am eager to take this journey and hopefully you who are reading this will take it with me. Together, we will be the change we desire to see in the world.

One of the most insightful and misunderstood things that will keep people from running with purpose and confidence is the precise, or trivial details, that ties up their souls creating soul ties through experiences, events, habits, relationships, desires, objectives and spirits that ensnare their souls and hold them back from their God given purpose.

These entanglements causes us to go through life with weights slowing us down, keeping us down, burdening our souls, and sometimes knocking the wind out of us, keeping us from confidently moving forward in the directions our destiny.

In the award winning book, Renovation of the Heart: Putting On the Character of Christ (Designed for Influence), Dallas Willard observed that the “thoughts, feelings, and intentions we are aware of are after all, only a small part of the ones that are truly there in our depths and they often are not the ones most revealing of who we actually are and why we do.” He added “The hidden dimension of each human life is not visible to others, nor is it fully graspable even by us. We usually know very little about the things that move in our own soul, the deepest level of our life, or what is driving it.”

We must allow ourselves to become more acquainted with our authentic selves by going through the process of discovering who we really are, by taking on the assistance of this guide during this series of teachings, and inspirations, to examine all of our objectives and relationships, leading us onto a new path of success and prosperity, is the goal we desire to achieve.

It’s high time we walk into the light of who we are.

Be your authentic self. Your authentic self is who you are when you have no fear of judgement or before the world starts pushing you around and telling you who you are supposed to be. Your fictional self is who you are when you have a social mask on to please everyone else. Give yourself permission to be your authentic self.” – Dr. Phil McGraw

To obtain the freedom to be your authentic self you are required to be open to do the work, in order to receive a life of freedom!

Christ has set us free to live a free life. So take your stand! Never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you. (Galatians 5:1 MSG)
